Congressman Mark Takano Warns Against Repeating History at ICE Out of Riverside Rally

The ICE Out of Riverside protest and rally hosted by LULAC of Riverside commemorated the 80th anniversary of the closure of Tule Lake, the last Japanese internment camp in California, while raising awareness of current immigration policies and abuses of power.

On Nov. 4, Inland Empire leaders criticized the Trump administration’s actions in delaying to pay out SNAP benefits. The administration initially agreed to pay 50% of benefits, followed by a USDA memo that increased the payout to 65%.
