Snow Capped mountains tower over a field of blooming flowers in Perris, CA on April 20, 2023.On April 19, 2023, Senator Dave Min (D-Irvine) announced the introduction of (SB) 337 which would establish a statewide goal to conserve at least 30% of California’s land and coastal waters by 2030. The legislation is also known as 30x30. According to the Sierra Club, a total of 42 endangered, threatened or otherwise imperiled species, 21 plant and 21 animal species, are present or potentially present in the San Bernardino Forest.
