With Pushups for Charity You Can Help Military Returning From Combat

Riverside – Village Coach Fitness, Inc. wants you to join their team for Pushups for Charity 2013—an annual fitness competition hosted by Net Profit Explosion, LLC.  Pushups for Charity is a 90 second push up challenge to be held on May 18, 2013.  Monies raised through Pushups for Charity will go straight to military personnel – past and present – who were either physically or emotionally wounded in service.

“I have always had a love for the Military,” states 1996 Atlanta Silver Medalist and the owner of Village Coach Fitness, Inc., Fatimat Yusuf-Olukoju. “When I first came to this country I wanted to join them. However I was not a citizen yet and by the time I became a US Citizen I was past the age limit requirements to join. However, that did not change my love and respect for those that serve this GREAT nation! I consider it an HONOR and a PRIVILEGE to be a small part of giving back to the HEROES of our country by participating in charity events to do what I can to help. I know my love and respect for these awesome Men and Women is felt throughout our country and I am PROUD to have you on my side to raise money to support this worthy cause! Now, let’s go show them what we’ve got and start pushing.”

For the second year in a row Pushups for Charity will benefit the Boot Campaign, a national 501c3 non-profit that is dedicated to showing tangible appreciation of our military, raising awareness of the challenges they face upon return and supporting their transition home.

In 2012, Pushups for Charity raised $300,000 for the Boot Campaign and Pushups for Charity Riverside raised over $5000.  This year, the goal for Pushups for Charity is to raise $1 million to fund the Boot Campaign’s five (5) military assistance programs—Jobs, Housing, Wellness, Family Support and Urgent Assistance.
