They arrived just after sunrise to ensure they had enough time to make it to court if they encountered any traffic or car trouble. Adam’s interaction with the criminal justice system leaves them feeling constantly afraid. Since his arrests in 2021, they spend almost every hour of the day together out of fear of Adam being rearrested.
