San Bernardino

The county’s Community Vital Signs Initiative which works in partnership with groups across the county to support wellness, last week announced launching of its newly redesigned website.

According to county officials, the website is now easier to navigate and offers “improved functionality” across all platforms and browsers. Those who visit the website will now experience a better user interface with intuitive streamlined menu operations that will direct visitors to community efforts, data, and information to keep them informed of the progress and the efforts of the Vital Signs initiative.

The redesign, which officials claim, further reflects the vibrancy of San Bernardino County and its residents, is now easier to navigate, with improved functionality across all platforms and browsers. Visitors will experience a better user interface with intuitive streamlined menu operations that will direct visitors to community efforts, data, and information to keep them informed of the progress and the efforts of the initiative.

The website’s new features include defined Priority Areas, Goals, and Strategies in support of the initiative’s Community Transformation Plan; access to a Data Portal that measures and tracks performance and provides perspective; an interactive Community Events Calendar designed to engage and mobilize community support and action; and more clearly defined “quick links” to enhance learning and support knowledge attainment.

The redesigned website also provides several entry points that allow local residents to participate in helping to make San Bernardino County a better place to live, work, and play.

Residents are encouraged to visit the website at http://www.CommunityVitalSigns.org and take advantage of its new features and benefits.
