Howard Greg Lee began his life’s journey on May 22, 1950, in Tallahassee, Florida. He was the eldest of four children born to Frank and Lola M. Lee. Howard’s father was a T. SGT in the United States Air Force who fought in the Korean War and completed three tours.
Howard was raised by a God-fearing mother who kept her children in church. He grew up in the Church of God.
Mrs. Lee was an employee of Patton State Hospital where she worked as a supervisor in the kitchen. Her day job would often carry over to the evening when she made home cooked meals for her children.
Being a military family allowed the Lee’s to travel the world, including places like Okinawa, Japan. Many of Howard’s fondest memories were when his parents would pile all the kids into the car to travel across country to spend summers in Panama City, Tallahassee, and Miami, Florida.
Lee would enjoy visiting all his aunts and uncles but what he absolutely loved most was hanging out with all his cousins and eating at all the large “fish fries” his family would have. Howard and his siblings felt truly blessed growing-up around all their cousins.
Lee is survived by his loving wife Alicia, son and daughter- in-law Gregory and Gina Lee, daughter and son-in-law Princess and Aldrick Blunt, sister and brother-in-law Francis and Lewis Jackson, brother and sister-in-law Keith and Charlotte Lee, sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Kevin Simon, grandchildren Gregory Michael, Gianna, Caleb and Joshua, nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins.
Memorial Services for Howard Greg Lee will be held Wednesday morning, December 21, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Kansas Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 4491 Kansas Avenue, Riverside, CA.
