The MLK Walk-A-Thon, held on January 15th, 2024, in Riverside, was a remarkable event that brought together the community to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Participants of all ages and backgrounds united in a spirit of unity and equality, walking together to promote social justice and inspire positive change. The event served as a powerful reminder of Dr. King’s teachings and his enduring impact on our society.

Staci Richards sets up her Perfectly Decorated Pillow stand to prepare for customers for the day. 
Signs with questions about the city’s future were put out for the community members to participate and be heard. They wrote out their answers as the day progressed, and a lot of important information was learned and exchanged between the community members, and those who help run it.
