San Bernardino, CA – San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra’s 2020 tribute concert honoring Dr. Martin Luther King is now available for viewing online. The January 18th tribute under the direction of Symphony Music Director and Conductor Anthony Parnther also aired as a PBS Special last Thursday. The Symphony performance included the West Coast premiere of three-time Emmy award-winning composer John Wineglass’s “Unburied, Unmourned, Unmarked.” It mourns the souls of the enslaved Africans who died on low-country rice plantations in the U.S., their bodies unburied, their suffering unmourned, and their sacrifices unmarked for future generations. The tribute is available for viewing anytime at https://www.empirenetwork.org/.
