RIVERSIDE – Healthy Heritage Movement and Art 2000 recently hosted an Open House at the Healthy Heritage Cultural and Wellness Center facility located in downtown Riverside. Among the many special guests who attended included dignitaries such as representative from Assembly Member Jose Medina’s office (District 61), Alton Garrett from Senator Barbara Boxer’s office, City of Riverside officials including Councilwoman Nancy Hart and Mayor Rusty Bailey who was guest speaker and also presented HHM with a proclamation. HHM also received a proclamation from Congressman Mark Takano’s office, who was unable to attend. Other city leaders included Rose Mayes, director of Riverside County Fair Housing; Katie Green, chair of The Group; Black Voice Foundation Director Hardy Brown II; and HHM community partners, staff and board members.
