The Duchess of Vonh Castle Sharing, Caring, and Giving of Oneself Foundation, Shirley Holder, President, announced that the Foundation will host their first Gala, Saturday, August 30, 2014, from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., at the Goldy Lewis Community Center, Rancho Cucamonga Hall, located at 11200 Base Line Road, Rancho Cucamonga. Cost is $45.00 per person. The goal for the Event is to raise $15,000.00. Proceeds will be used to assist with providing 1,000 meals for the homeless, the Scholarship created by the President -”Never Give Up on Your Hopes or Dreams! They may not occur with your timing, but in God’s. A dream not pursued is a dream wasted. A hope not believed will soon be forgotten. Listen only to can and not cannots. Cannots are impediments to success!” This program will assist High School Juniors and Seniors from low income families, who wish to pursue their dreams in the fields of Culinary Arts, Social Work, Music, and Interior Design, with tuition and books. Also, we will provide assistance to disabled veterans, and the shut-in, in the San Bernardino County.
The event will feature a combination of Jazz and steelband music, a comedian,keynote speaker,delicious food, and raffle. The theme for the event is “Sharing, Caring, and Giving of Oneself.” The Duchess of Vonh Castle Sharing, Caring and Giving of Oneself Foundation is a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation, dedicated and extremely passionate about providing exceptional human services programs for the hungry, homeless, afflicted, and less fortunate. Teach, motivate, inspire, and encourage with Godly leadership. Work in partnership with other organizations to assist in bringing about an end to homelessness. To be a catalyst for a better quality of life for those in need.
