The City of Chino Hills welcomed thousands of community members for their annual  Halloween Celebration at The Shoppes at Chino Hills on Oct. 31, 2023.

The city hosted this event to foster a “fun and safe environment” for children to trick-or-treat and participate in activities, including arts and crafts, games, and a costume contest.  Most of the shops, from Bath and Body Works to Panera Bread, distributed candy, with certain storefronts generating lines of about 50 trick-or-treaters.

According to the Chino Hills Recreation Division, the celebration attracted approximately 3,500 attendees.

Fifteen years ago, City Hall moved locations for the celebration from its previous site at the Founders Center to City Centre Drive, adjacent to the Shops at Chino Hills. The changing of the celebration location, over a decade ago, was an opportunity to encourage community members to familiarize themselves with the new shopping center and support commerce within Chino Hills.

Since then, the turnout for the celebration has increased exponentially.
Black Voice News made portraits of celebration attendees and captured moments of the festivities throughout the City of Chino Hills’ Halloween event. Check out the Halloween fun below!
