Casinos Reopen With Lots of People Willing to “Gamble”

Six tribal casinos in both Riverside and San Bernardino Counties have opened their doors in recent days after being shut down for nearly two months to help curtail the spread of COVID-19. High rollers and slot machine enthusiasts lined-up early for a chance to be one of the first to experience one of America’s beloved recreational activities. From Agua Caliente and Spa Casinos in Palm Springs to Morongo in Cabazon and at casinos across the region face masks were donned, temperatures were taken, and smoking was strictly prohibited. Judging from some of the lines as people waited to enter the various locations it appeared these requirements were a small price to pay for many to enjoy one of their favorite forms of entertainment.
