The Black History Month Committee of Riverside, Riverside Unified School District, NAACP, Riverside African American Historical Society, A Foundation 4 Kids and Raceway Ford have come together to host the 13th Annual Free Backpack Giveaway to be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Castle Park in Riverside.
During the giveaway, backpacks, school supplies and a few surprises will be given on a first come first serve basis.
