It’s been two years since the Connecting Faith & Business Summit gathered in person. That will change this Thursday, October 13,  when Summit attendees gather  at the Riverside Convention Center between 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The theme of this year’s Summit is, The Next Normal to Re-Build, Re-Invent and Re-Imagine.

The Summit will include dynamic panelists and speakers, and roundtable experts discussing relevant topics for today’s post quarantine, inflation and the interest rate-impacted economy. Both business leaders and faith-based leaders alike are dealing with the “after effects” of the pandemic and stay at home orders, while retaining their customers/members, making payroll and covering daily expenses to stay in business or in service. These leaders will sit shoulder to shoulder to learn from each other and share best practices.

The Summit will feature a panel discussing: The Great Resignation or the Great Opportunity: How Connecting Faith & Business and government resources can help. A spirited discussion of workforce professionals will discuss how to engage employees who are “quietly quitting” and how to create new work options to attract talent. Panelists will also discuss training dollars available for adding new employees and resources to match employees to the right employers.

Following lunch there will be a celebration of businesses that pivoted and propelled during the pandemic and who credit their faith in the same God–pre and post pandemic–as the secret to their success. From engineering, to insurance; to mortgage and real estate; to church growth, these panelists will discuss their journey through shelter in place to adding new employees, new products and new opportunities during the pandemic.

During the Summit, the California Baptist University (CBU), will be presented with the Institutional Connecting Faith & Business Hall of Fame Award. CBU has been selected for the coveted recognition because of their unwavering dedication to helping individuals to use their skills, integrity and purpose to glorify God and distinguish themselves in the workplace and the world.

Tickets are on sale and additional information is available by visiting AmPac.com. Interested participants can text FAITH to 71441 to register and enter a drawing for a $500 Gift card. Must be registered present to win.
