In African Tradition, the “Void” is Everything; in European Tradition, the “Void” is Nothing. “Coin” Options to assess both Traditions include: (1) is one or both sides of a coin truthful or not truthful?; (2) are both correct but for different reasons; (3) is one Tradition seeing its one-sided coin as correct and the other, incorrect? (4) are there other options? Ones choice depends upon ones Philosophy of Life. Mine is African Tradition since its conclusions are based upon what is observable in Nature—expanded on by Sekhem, the Cosmic Force’s revelations to African Sages—and both being verified by Mathematics. The story of “Creating into a Void” starts with Primitive African shepard stargazers satisfying “thirst of their Souls” by focusing their curiosity onto the splendors of the nocturnal skies. Despite fascination with what the space containing the Stars could be, there were no thoughts of “looking for” anything. Yet, their experience of "Awe"–a wordless “Larger-than-Life” mystery—urged speculative propounding of theories, generalizations, and assumptions, for which there can be no proof, as to what powered stars movement in the heavens. The arrival of Very Ancient African priest-astronomers’ curiosity advanced Primitive Africans observations with Astro-Mathematics. Carefully Ordered observed sky Designs situated in the space of the Void gave insights. These insights reflected their Right Brains’ ability to note and follow such processes as similarities between things below an appearance level; see their relation to each other; and synthesize their correspondences. Mathematical calculations also gave insights that established "skeletal" Theme Design abstracts in the sky’s Void.

Together, they generated a circle of wholism, with the stars and the Void needing each other to be known. Understanding this Theme’s arising to be from the shared essence properties of the stars enabled inferences serving as a unifying central or dominating idea—all vital for creative Metaphysical Pattern fashionings. African Sages’ purpose was to see all of what was obvious to see in order to decide about possibilities of existing, but Hidden unrealized realities + to make inferences from Circumstantial Truths into the Esoteric—i.e. the mysterious things about God; the things belonging to God; and the things revealed by God to humans. In this realm, all happenings are in the “here and now”—there being no past or future—no coming or going in and out of Being—no progressing of time. Such are illusions of the Void, in the manner that the ocean and its waves are one. When a wave rises, it is the water; when the wave falls, it is still the water. The point is that a human’s stream of Consciousness is one thought after thought after thought—an illusory continuity of unity among diversity. Here, one thought drags its associated past with it; another thought either looks forward to the future or resists possibilities of happenings in that future. Together they design Causes, Effects, Consequences, and Results as a Theme of Understanding—a Theme unrealistic in Metaphysical Realms because there are no interrelationships between past, present, and future. An analogy is the illusion that after a stone thrown into a pond, it seems to cause waves to travel away from the stone’s entry. Yet, in reality, the real motion of a wave is “up and down,” as illustrated by a bobbing cork on a fishing line.  But what does travel in an outward continuous moving effort from the stone’s entry is the water in the space between two waves — and that is what produces the Ripple Effect.

Paths to insights shed all of these Secular meanings and enter a senseless present moment Void by viewing Things in their actual singular situation. This state, called "Suchness" (just at this moment), is a disconnection of the past and future from the present–so each of them is free to be what they are–and thereby dismiss all of ones memory. Now, things in the present can be seen to do what they do and thereby have no meaning, no value, and no destination. "Suchness"—like Play —is a normally inconceivable, non-verbal reality, known by Symbols. Still, it causes a deep Inner World impact experience that is imaginative, non-literal, mentally removed in some way from “real” or “serious” life while in an active, alert, but non-stressed frame of mind. It is in that state that one is most able to Create Fancy into a Void—i.e. into any space of which one can conceive—whether this be on different planes of existence in the present, past, or future. With an imagination that thinks in pretzel forms and with the right situation, something useful for a purpose or for fun can find a home. jabaileymd.com; JABLifeSkills
