Trayvon Eshawn Brown
San Bernardino, CA
Trayvon Eshawn Brown, the 26-year-old suspect arrested for the triple murders of Samathy Mahan, Travon Lamar Williams, and his 9-year-old son Travon Williams on Friday July 8. The three were shot to death as they exited the Superior Liquor Store on Del Rosa Avenue in San Bernardino around 9:30 pm.
Brown pled not guilty when arraigned in San Bernardino Superior Court last week. According to the criminal complaint, he faces three counts of murder that include enhancements for the use of a firearm on each count.
It is believed Mahan was the intended target of the murders. Detectives documented a previous encounter between Mahan and Brown that occurred on June 15 may have precipitated the July 8 homicides. On June 15, according detectives, Brown was shot during an altercation between the two.
The judge set Brown’s bail at three million dollars. Brown will return to court on Wednesday, August 3.
