African Scholarship focuses on the “What it is” of a Thing and the Source giving rise to it—for that is the theme of the Divine Logos. The Ancient African Bible says the“Divine Logos”–the Verbum– "The Word"–is itself the power of the Divine Presence. Its Germ Plasm (Androgynic Plast) or Substance is the Spiritual Elements—i.e. Unconditional Love, Truth, Reality, and the Natural—flowing through all of the Cosmic Organism’s Creatures and Creations. As the Divine Logos spreads throughout the entire Cosmos, different thinking patterns can be extracted. First, is Instincts, which express God’s Will. Second, Common Sensepatterns of pre-birth Emotions + Instincts express Humanity and Play (spontaneous Imagination). The Play is rhythmically musical and happening of itself so as to always be about arriving “at no place in particular.” Rather than living for something significant, Play is living applied to itself, for itself, to become the Fun it makes. Play is the essence of Creativity; is part of all Curiosity; and is vital to any profound “ME/WE” African Thought. These Common Sense complementary “check and balance” powers consists of "Inseparable Harmonized Differences"–like two sides of a coin–independently working to interdependently fashion a whole out of pertinent Divine Logos aspects. Each steers the other within guidelines so as perfect the Common Sense product into workable “ME/WE” solutions. Third, an evolving Reasoning by Analogy (using the known to explain the unknown) Intellect, starts in childhood and progresses towards Qualitative/Quantitative Algebra applications on the way to arriving at Knowledge (Truths of Nature’s Laws). Reason (mathematical manipulations/maneuvering) carries ones Thoughts beyond mere Experience realms and, in contrast to Faith, allows for corrections.
Fourth, Knowledge has toti-potency. Thus, by its ability to make unsuspected and novel connections, it can give an Entity existence out of any ray of which its Essence is capable of producing. Intuitional Knowledge (pieces of the Truth about the Cosmic Organism)—by making one come “Alive”–opens new channels to Spiritual Elements’ realms that ever Creatively undergo expansion. It also devises patterns of procedures transferrable to other areas. Sensibilities Knowledge comes from noticing resemblances and recurrences in Things and Events within mental reach. When this is converted to Common Sense, it becomes plain and simple. Knowledge gives a wider range than does Reason and that increases ones apprehending Powers. Still, Reason preserves existing Knowledge; provides likely Consequence awareness of Things; and causes later learning to lead to Consciousness expansion. Fifth, Logic—by staying “Yoked” to the Divine Logos–allows ones mind to express its Patterns as a result of distinguishing and manipulating Form-Idea Realities by means of Music (or Harmony), Philosophy, and Mathematics. Sixth, Critical Thinking does “Seeing Eye” guard dog type stuff for Common Sense, Creativity, Reasoning, Knowledge, and Logic. It creates, enhances, maintains, defends, and protects Harmony by correcting such Disharmonies as omissions, commissions, flaws, limitations, weaknesses, misdirections, misplacements, deficits, or excesses. Each of these 6 stand on the shoulders of those preceding it + provides shoulders to stand on for unlimited growth in Art, Science, Humanity, and Self-Improvement.
Seventh, Wisdom’s realm–as a perfected form of Common Sense’s Humanity + Pure Emotions + Pure Intellect (i.e. Real Self) + Instinct–is in the Sublime. Its orchestration is ones “Non-Self” as a “ME/WE” benefactor + AlgebraicAbstract/Abstractions manipulator in a “Metaphysical Mirror Image” way. Ancient Africans’ first Algebraic mathematics was to distill Physical Abstracts so as to treat Quantities and relationships of numbers to them. Later, they entered Esoteric (Spiritual) Unknowns by reflecting these tools in a “Metaphysical Mirror” to thereby allow application of Quantitative Algebra Principles to Qualities in Metaphysial Abstractions. The reason this works is because Thoughts are a system of symbols that stand apart from Reality. Hence, they are Quantitative Abstracts to which Algebraic calculations for Qualitative Metaphysical purposes can similarly be performed–as if they were Physical realm Abstracts. In other words, letters and symbols are equally applicable on both sides of the Equal Sign, whether dealing with the Metaphysical and/or the Physical. Such, on any plane of existence, permits one to unify events/things that externally differ widely in form and in external appearance—even to seemingly be Contrary Opposites. Yet, they correspondingly mesh internally. jabaileymd.com
