To assist in generating ideas of how to take Charge, take Control, and take Care of the Destiny of ones life + be in Charge and Control of what one does + any significant situation one is in, requires starting with the beginning “big picture”. Each human is born with every faculty (a "native ability" power of the mind) needed to have a “ME/WE” thriving life of well-being. Still, to have success demands using Human Ideal amounts of cultivation for the discovery, development, and finding just the right niche for each faculty. Ones life starts in a primordial state, before being conceived by ones parents. In that Subjective realm, ones Soul and its Sunshine are instilled—called the Spark of the Flame of the Cosmic Force (the Spiritual God)—while possessing a Spiritual connection with all of God’s Creatures and Creations. They reside in an inactive realm of profound Peace where there is “All for one and One for All”. To elaborate, a ‘human-to-be’s” Spark of God is the Soul—called the Divine Self. It was metaphorically symbolized by Ancient Africans as the Sun, with Ra, at the supreme level of Cosmic Creations. By failing to understand significant differences between the Sun and the god Ra, much world-wide confusion comes from European Egyptologists who say Ra equates to the Sun. What African Sages said was the Sun is the factory wherein all building blocks for physical matter and energies in and for the world are created. In turn, these are the nexus—i.e. points of transformation Ra uses to pass Matter from its unshaped into its shaped forms. In this metaphor, the Sun is Spiritual and “Un-touchable” by any worldly things, while Ra, rising from the Sun, is in the Material Realm.

African Sages said Ra serves as a reflection of the Cosmic "Light" by being the solar energy or life-force that creates Beings out of the Sun; differs from other forces by being wedded to Consciousness, Will, and Knowledge; and is stored in physical bodies. So, Ra can be likened to a railroad train Roundhouse whereby its turntable changes the direction of the train by rotating it in different ways. Then arrangements/rearrangements and combinations/re-combinations are done with Sun-made ingredients. But, unlike the Sun, Ra is subject to attack by forces of evil—like Apep (dark ignorance), Nak (concupiscence—strong desires, like lust), Sebau (Materialistic oriented), etc. (Amen, Metu Neter II:64). They said the Sun and Ra are to be understood as windows into the transcendent—i.e. avenues by which the energies of the mind and body may be channeled toward a higher, Spiritual goal in life (Ashby, Book of Dead p130, 139). Just as the Flame of the Cosmic Force emanates Cosmic Creation and all within it (e.g. a human), so does a human Soul’s Spark reflect the Flame in the pool of that human’s mind. It operates through the brain and nervous system. A human’s Soul Spark is a microcosm (finite ‘little world’) of the macrocosm (‘infinite world’) of the Cosmic Force’s Flame. Thus, a human’s “Soul Sunshine” is the central source of Light and Life. It illuminates first itself with visible light. That, the same light at ones own the tunnel’s beginning, leads one through in-most boundless light headed to Cosmic Reality. As one progresses, the tunnel light becomes brighter and brighter–becoming dazzling upon stepping into its Realm. There, one clearly experiences connecting and interpenetrating with all Cosmic Entities and all Cosmic Multi-Systems in total Harmony.

The Ra equivalent in humans, under the direction of “Soul Sunshine” fashions the highest Primary Qualities out of the Spiritual Elements of Unconditional Love, Truth, Reality, and the Natural. They include Beauty, Goodness, Happiness, Wellness, Perfection, Universal Wisdom, and Natural Order. Then Ra, also directed by a human’s Divine Consciousness, produces each human’s Lower (Animalistic) Self as a Spiritual Selfishness geared to doing what is necessary to Survive, Self-Protect, and Self-Preserve. All within the Animal Kingdom possess it. African Sages used ‘animalistic’ in the sense of a human’s Lower Self so as to symbolize human's desires, Secular (worldly) passions, and appetites. Both the disciplined and undisciplined animalistic are needed for some of Earth world living. Yet, if ones Soul Sunshine dominates in ones Private Selfhood, wise decisions and solutions enable one to ascend from ones Lower (animalistic) Self to ones Highest (divinity) Self. Part of ones obligation, duty, and responsibility is to keep striving toward African Tradition’s Ma’at Principles so as to rise above drawing on ones Lower Self.
