Planning Ahead—Regional Parks Seek Applicants for Summer Jobs

As inland residents continue to navigate their way through the winter season, it is never too early to think about summer employment. If you are a great swimmer who will need job this summer, the San Bernardino County Regional Parks Department (SBCRPD) wants you. 

The Parks Department opens its facilities to summer swim fun beginning Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, and the SBCRPD is encouraging candidates to apply now to become a lifeguard at one of its parks for the 2018 Summer Season. 

Applicants will be required to have C.P.R. and First Aid certifications before their first day on the job. They will also be required to show proof of current Lifeguard Certifications that are valid through September 2018. Bi-lingual candidates are also encouraged to apply. 

The following positions are currently available at each park location: One Pool Manager, two senior lifeguards, and an unspecified number of additional lifeguards. Apply online at or Applications will be accepted through April 2018. Interviews will begin in January.
