New Amphitheater for Murrieta

New Amphitheater for Murrieta

Murrieta – This week the Murrieta City Council was expected to consider candidates and select a contractor to build an outdoor amphitheater in the city’s Town Square Park where the community already gathers on special occasions. The 762-seat arena which will serve as an entertainment center and special events venue is expected to cost between $4.6 million to $5 million to build. Construction on the project is expected to begin in January 2020 and the city council is hopeful the amphitheater will be completed by this time next year.    The Murrieta Amphitheater will find its home at Town Square Park in the company of its 9/11 Memorial, Fallen Warriors Memorial, Veterans Memorial and Veterans Honor Garden already located at the site.
