Mt. San Jacinto College Recognized for Peer Support Program

San Jacinto

Riverside County’s Mt. San Jacinto College’s Supplemental Instruction (SI) program, identified as a premier academic assistance program, was recently recognized as only the fifth college in California to receive certification by the International Center for SI.

The program, which delivers peer support to students in difficult courses, was awarded the highly acclaimed international certification as a result of its demonstrated commitment to the core principles of the SI Model, and carries wit it prestige and privileges.

In addition to being the fifth college in the state to be awarded this certification, it is also one of only 25 institutions of higher learning across the country to be so awarded.
