MISSION IN LIFE

Etymologically, a “Mission” (“let go”) is a sending, or a being sent, on some special work. There is no better way for one to plan out ones life than to have a clear Mission and work on it daily. That makes life far, far easier to live through than to not have one and “drift”. A key to how this is done, said Ancient Africans, is to model ones work after the approaches used in the work done by what the God Spirit does in Nature. Thus, a Mission is very personal for me. Ones Mission concerns the Cosmic Aura above Humankind —e.g. Beauty, Truth, Self-Improvement, Unconditional Love—giving a sense of a higher, wider, deeper, magnificent, and ‘larger than Earth World Life’ “ME/WE” organization. Despite attuned human minds being finite, they are surrounded by this near infinite aura. Thus, ones duty is to grasp as much as can be extracted out of that “Mission storehouse.’ A Mission’s best “ME/WE” entrance is to “Know Thyself”—and that demands learning to identify oneself with all that lives—i.e. the God living within all of God’s Creatures and Creations. This, being a vital part of Cosmic Wholeness, is a Spiritual Human Nature Need. It possesses such power that whenever it is reached, one clutches it so strongly as to be personally and continuously nourished. That nourishment provides a never-ending “5Ss”—Safety, Security, Sureness/Self-Confidence, Strength, and Stability–state.  Such allows Self-Love + its flow into  the “ME/WE” + urges one to give Selfless Service to all willing to accept it. While one seeks ones own individual liberation and Human Ideal Perfection, one does all one reasonably can to earnestly assist in the liberation and Human Ideal perfection of others.

These are “Needy Want” Unconditional Love expressions since it: (1) gives birth to oneself so as to reach ones full birth gift potentials; (2) is Right Life Living; (3) is something ‘bigger than oneself’ to live for; and (4) makes a contribution to “ME/WE” Humanity. Next to Unconditional Love, as the cornerstone of ones life, is the possession of a supreme Purpose. It enlists all of ones powers, gives unity and direction to ones life, and tranquilizes ones Selfhood in the process. These associations make life Significant and Meaningful—as noted by a sense of “Aliveness”—not “Excitement.” A Mission is a “Know-What” rather than a “Know-How”—for it determines the “Why”. That Why” finds a way to the “How”. This Mission must be so big as to challenge one to produce fully every Endowment (i.e. natural qualities) and Propensity (in-born tendencies, as ones capacities, abilities, and language)–which operate some process of ones Selfhood.  Continuity of Purpose–heading through life to ones Mission in Senior years–is perhaps the most fundamental ingredients of Happiness. It relates to both the internal and external sides of ones Success Coin + acts as a tow-rope to hang onto in “down times.”

A Mission’s Theme is opposite to those oriented to the External World–for it is not the attainment of Things, but to fulfill a Purpose; not to accomplish, but to be accomplished. A Mission Success consists of no specific achievement but rather is a state of mind in which “All is properly done”. That attempt alone infuses ones “ME/WE” Qualities into the existence of any touched by it. This Theme underlies ones Character, Dignity, Culture, Refinement, Position, Selfhood Greatness, and Meaning in life. By having a tenacious purpose in a rightful cause, and powered by a force of Nature, one is not shaken from ones firm resolve by outside influences or attackers. Out of necessity, this pursuit demands ceaseless study; doing endless hard work; engaging in Laser sharp observations of all the Obvious; removing the Hidden so as to explore the Foundation and Base in order to assess its Essence to build on; to think Critically; and to do constant self-teaching from all sources, including those of obscure backgrounds. This requires profound and daily pondering on the approaches, methods, techniques, manners, duties, obligations, and responsibilities of the Mission + making of corrections where indicated. These fashion a Real Self human, a customized “ME/WE” oriented individual with genuine ideas, knowledge of Principles and how to maneuver and manipulate them. All work interdependently to design Human Ideals and a Masterpiece life. Those having “no regrets” about their Mission completion can contentedly make the transition from life to death with peace, gentleness, nothing to fear, nothing to dread, and no sorrows. This comes from being invested with a certain life’s grandeur and poetry.jabaileymd.com; JABLifeSkills
