Midterm Voting Enthusiasm Reaches Record High

With the midterm rapidly approaching, a Pew Research Survey of registered voters conducted between September 18 and September 24, showed voter enthusiasm has reached its highest level (in advance of a midterm election) not seen in more than twenty years. Opinions either for or against President Trump, continued to be a key driver for at least 60 percent of respondents—37 percent said their midterm votes will weigh against the president.  Equally as important, a record number of registered voters, approximately 72 percent, said the issue of which political party controls congress in the next session will be a key factor in their November vote.
