Representatives from Dignity Health’s Inland Empire hospitals, the Community Hospital of San Bernardino and St. Bernardine Medical Center and six non-profit agencies were recently recognized and rewarded for their dedicated efforts to improve access to health care; provide education on chronic diseases and youth development.
Last week, $300,000 in donations were made to the non-profits as part of Dignity Health’s Community Grant’s Program. The president of Dignity Health Community Hospital, June Collison, who also serves as interim president of St. Bernardine Medical Center, congratulated the recipients of the donations and thanked them for their hard work.
The following organizations received awards during last week’s presentation: Central City Lutheran Mission, $60,000; Family Assistance Program, $48,850; Illumination Foundation, $50,000; Legal Aid of San Bernardino, $37,000; Lestonnac Free Clinic, $75,000; and Mary’s Mercy Center received $30,000.
