HUMANS’ CHARACTER IN AFRICAN TRADITION (2)

The story of Humans’ Character in African Tradition draws an association of concepts from all over Africa. It began with Primitive (the first) Africans’ Form-Constants, followed by inventing the wheel, pottery, the marked stick for measuring, ways of making fire, and countless others. But of significance here was early Africans’ discovery and smelting of copper and iron. Iron, one of the most tightly packed substances in the world, was hammered by Africans into Granite until strong enough to overcome its cohesion forces that lock molecules of stone together. A wood hammer could not overcome those cohesive forces since its molecules are so loosely packed and contain enough air spaces to float on water. Since Granite is the strongest and most durable stone, Very Ancient African stone-wall cutters chose it for purposes of forming message characters on temples, walls, and tombs that symbolized sacred teachings. Such Characters were engraved marks, each used to distinguish one thing as different from all the other marks. Very Ancient African priest-astronomers borrowed this concept in applying it to humans. After Mathematical Laws suggested each star in the sky carried God’s Substance, they inferred humans’ Eternal Souls did the same. Hence, just as a Star has a Halo, so does the Eternal Soul have a Halo–called the "Heart" or "Astral Soul". This "Heart" was used in a figurative sense for the “deepest recesses of the human Psyche" (African, 'Psyche' = Soul) as well as deeming it to be the seat of Feelings, Spirit, and Nature–ones Mind, Senses, Emotional Body, and Creative Power–the place of ones Moral and Spiritual nature–a human's center or ‘residence’ where issues of her/his life are determined”—and the location of the very “Subtle Mind.” This “Subtle Mind”, they said, penetrates the universal nature of Reality. Portions of the "Heart" accessible to heredity were likened to the Characters African stone-cutters made on walls–since they were able to undergo “carvings” of identifying metaphysical marks from the way a human handles life experiences.

Together, these features of the “Heart” served as a concurrence of associations which were applied to whatever concerned a human’s Spark of God. To elaborate, a human’s inner image Spark constitutes that human’s Selfhood Essence (Spiritual and thus Immaterial) as well as identifies and expresses that human’s “Self,” or Spiritual individuality. When in a “human-to-be” origin, ones “Self” is likened to that human’s “what it is”; ones Spiritual Essentials–an Intangible Metaphysical entity with Matter–at that time, as unrealized realities of Character, Characteristics, Traits, and Features–all part of that human’s Astral "Double". The Essential’s Astral Soul Character is destined to orchestrate its concurrent associates when each does its independent duties but interdependently working together to do, on Earth, their “what it does” and “how it appears” roles. In their respective roles, each of those Essentials of its Essence parent “carve” Selfhood stand-out identifying metaphysical marks. Their manifested concurrence of associations in activities of daily living possess the “payload” effect of a personal “Trademark” of the “Self”. When placed into a Theme, this dynamic composite of “engraved marks” within the Astral Soul “Character” has a most consistent Pattern(s)—called its Trait(s).

Also within the concurrences of the Essential’s Operations in action, the most outstanding Trait(s) in operation is its Feature(s). The Traits and Features constitute theCharacteristics of the Essence. This is because they represent and reflect various changing and developing modes of the Soul’s Disposition expressions within a given context of that Essence. The most outstanding Featured Trait of the Character,  highlighted by a Characteristic, is the “Trademark” of the Essence. It is that “Trademark” which distinguishes a given human (or anything) as uniquely different from all other humans. As long as a human remains inside a Real Self state—the state of ones birth into the Earth World–ones Spiritual “Self” Character Essence will orchestrate its Essential Earthly Character displays in beneficial “ME/WE” manners. However, Ancient African Sages inferred from their Mathematically determined Laws of Nature that the inner nature of the Cosmic Force, Sekhem, is Unconditional Love and a Spark of that Unconditional Love comprises a human’s Soul. Thus, that human is “Free” to make Earth World choices which lead to a False Self. In other words, each human has a Free Will choice to be the “architect” of her/his own Earth World “Character". jabaileymd.com; JABLifeSkills
