High School Students, Businesses and the City Partner for Success

Fontana, CA – On Saturday, November 16, 2019 Etiwanda high school students recently completed a six-week Professional Skills Training Program. During the Saturday training sessions, 36 students listened to local business owners speak about dressing for success, the importance of reporting to work on-time and what to expect during a job interview—all of which are important attributes as the students prepare to enter the increasingly complex 21st century job market.

Fontana Mayor Aquanetta Warren who attended the completion of this first cohort of students to participate in the program stated, “We want to make sure every young person in this community is job-ready.”
