EXPLICIT DISCERNMENTS FOR BLACK SCHOLARS (22)

Discerning the Real/False in Seeable/Un-seeable realms is both Implicit/Explicit. Like a Star’s Halo, Implicit is the undertone or overtone (Aura, Atmosphere) of a Thing’s Essence (‘what it is’ appearing in existence). Implicit (implied and understood by inference and without being stated) or Explicit (defined and ‘unfolded’ into clarity) Discernments enable the Essence or Character "Identity" to be distinguished from like-kind others. Tools for Implicit differentiations are known by it being “Felt,” by ones Soul Spiritual Elements “Trademark’s” Radar Beacon or, as well-known by me, of ones Spiritual Entourage’s “Helping Hands”. “Tuned-in” Afrocentric People can know messages of our Ancient African Ancestor’s “Thought Clouds” via the Afrocentric Mystic Memory–an implicit Vibration conveyance vehicle. By contrast, Explicit Discernment of an External World Thing is the acquiring of sensory inputs that enable that Thing to be distinguished from like-kind others—a distinguishing via a Thing’s Primary Quality—a Quality of a particular mark of differentiation out of what is confusing or has misleading appearances. An analogy is the trademarks made on bricks by Ancient African bricklayers. The sensory inputs come from perceptions or apprehending by sight, intellect, instinct, or the 12 special senses: color, sound, smell, taste, balance, motion, direction, heat, cold, weight, tactility, and pressure. Explicit or Implicit subtle Discernments are in play when only Apprehensions are possible—i.e. one grasping or taking hold of an Idea, as through the senses, the mind, or the instinct—without full understanding or appreciation of any other of that Idea’s aspects. While entering a human's senses, Discernments originate out of the ingredients of Sensations–whether from the outside world, out of ones memory, from “happenings” inside ones Selfhood,  from ones interpretations of the monitored feedback one gets from outside influences, or from a combination. The acquiring of disorganized sensory inputs from Sensation are the "raw materials" in Discerning an External World Thing. The sensory inputs entering the mind’s “committee” are organized into a Stage I form–a Percept.

That Percept has a Disposition with a message intended to be brought into ones mind from its Source. Ones Imagination then gathers all incoming pertinent image items + qualities of sense perception + what it generates out of 'raw' materials + like-kind entities given in prior sense perceptions. They are arranged into an Icon Image conforming to the Receiver’s interpretation—and that may/may not be what was intended. That new mental entity of organizedSensations constitutes a “Thing” when it comes into a mind’s Being-hood so as to make ones mind aware of the nature of those sensations as something good or bad. Creating an atmosphere of beauty and other forms of Worth is Good to woo children into Implicit and Explicit learning. A “bad” Percept is like a threat, disturbance in harmony, or atmosphere of danger. Stage II, the Percept evolves into a beginning Conceptual state—a maturing Identity. It is heralded by the Implicitness (understood though not directly expressed) of the vague, hazy, organized Percept’s Sensations. Ether added to Sensations begins molding ones mind into a sort of better awareness of what is contained or included, though not expressed, in the Sensation of the Percept—and that enhances Identity. However, the Implicit (“That it is” identity) is capable of being implied by inference and without being stated. Since Form I Percept is that of Primary Qualities, the Being of those "That's"–while in a “Glob” and Un-seeable state of activity–also includes the 'what it is doing'. Stage III is added Ether advancing the Implicit into a Notion –a recognizable "what it is"–an "Entity" with a specific nature hinting at the “Thing’s” Seeable Identity and its specific attributes. 

Stage IV is more added Ether evolving into an “Idea” bud having: 1) awareness of specifics–e.g. properties, characteristics, traits, features; 2) an Explicit (clear, emphatic) "Identity" concept; and 3) forces shaped into a defined "Thing"—a shape imparting power to a patterned quantity of "frozen" energy. Stage V–a matured Idea is the formation of a "Unit" called a Concept. A Concept describes phenomenon (i.e. a phantom; to ‘make visible’; a Contingent Being) lackinglife and lacking reality. At the core of this Entity is a Disposition containing a 'payload' message of the Conceptual Essence’s shared properties, an Inclination,Temperament, and an Attitude. Discernment’s degrees—from dull to sharp–are an awareness of Stage IV, then III, then II, then headed toward Stage I. jabaileymd.com
