Crafton Hills and San Bernardino Valley Colleges to Offer Tuition Free Program

San Bernardino

College officials with the San Bernardino Community College District are working to mobilize their existing financial aid programs and funding sources to benefit local high school students. Their goal is to provide future graduates opportunities to participate in tuition free career training certificates or start the first half of their bachelor’s degree program at no cost.

According to Board President Joseph Williams, SBCCD plans to make a $10 million investment in this effort to benefit at least 1,000 of the area’s high school students. The long-term goal is to boost the number of college graduates in the inland area of Southern California.
