“Condition” is a Thinker’s Scale “Flip-Flop” word having good, neutral bad, and terrible denotations. It means being secondary to some pre-existing state that supports, alters, or changes part or all of the conceptions, or the existence, of something already in “Being-hood”. A Pre-existing entity pertains to the “what it is,” “what it does,” and “how it appears” in its state’s unmodified presence. Good Conditionings are the cultivation of humans’ preexisting endowments and attributes for promoting ones Ma’at Self-Improvement; Or, an athlete is “conditioned” (physically fit) from having gone through necessary courses of preliminary training. In the operating room, I, like many surgeons, developed a Conditioned Reflex anytime anyone said: “ooh-ooh”. That would spur instant preparation to correct some bad happening to a patient. Neutral conditioning was illustrated by Pavlov, a Russian scientist who caused a “second nature,” or Conditioned Reflex, in dogs. Normally, there is the production of saliva when food is taken into the mouth–called an automatic inborn (i.e. Primary nature) reflex response. His experiment involved ringing a bell each time dogs were given food. After the first few times the dogs would immediately salivate upon hearing the bell–and before they were given food. Subsequently, when the bell would ring, but without the food, the dogs would still salivate. That indicated there was substituted a “second nature” stimulus for the Primary one while still getting the same response. It and Unconditional Reflexes are Ideo-motor Actions—i.e. the mere thought of the stimulative consequences of an act evokes the act itself—like urination. The negative scale is what mainly concerned the arrival of the mid-C19 word “Conditioning”. Its denotation embraces the slow and cumulative experience process of switching the (instinct) normal into the (acquired) unique; the process of acquiring, developing, educating, learning, or training new and unnatural responses in an individual over to influences faced in the environment as well as into the External World. Examples of the “not quite right” alterations of what is Natural are sleeping pills causing a Conditioned Sleep—which is much inferior to natural sleep–or a movie, as a conditioned alteration of reality.
These types of Conditionings “instruct” ones mind to react in a certain way—the ‘big picture’ of which gives some benefits—positive or negative. Such results from a “Stimulus”—i.e. anything that makes a living thing act in a Response or Reaction. These, called Conditioned (automatic) Responses, become “Second Nature”–a 1390s English term alluding to such a frequent repeating of something as to make it seem inborn (like a Human Nature trait). Because whatever is “Conditioned” is unnatural, ones response or reactions are developed by regular associations of some physiological function with an unrelated outside event. A Conditioned Belief is one that arises by socialization, habit, or constant exposure, thereby altering brain neurons to transform it into “second nature”. An association of Conditioned Responses becomes a specific lifestyle pattern which then stumbles on into ones lifestyle.
A psychic disaster of this results from being socialized into and subsequently mentally controlled by Conditional Love. A reason is this unnatural form of child-rearing is a “Flip-Flop” of the Natural. The Natural is the in-born Needy Wants associated with Unconditional Love. Starting as a newborn, it is a human’sdeepest need is to be given Unconditional Love, for that stabilizes a given human’s entire Selfhood. To elaborate, whereas a human’s Physical Needs are for (Human Nature) Survival (e.g. food, water) and Wants are what people desire, Needy Wants are what it takes for ones Private Selfhood Spirituality to thrive in a mentally healthy and happy state of well-being. Any manifestation short of that generates a “Conditional” Selfhood Splintered mind. This results in 4 main profound happenings: (1) one becomesAlienated from all Cosmic Organism Creatures and Creations; (2) one part of ones Selfhood has become Self-Absorbed(viewing everything within ones world in relation to oneself) so as to deal with ones personal problems in a “me, me, me” manner; (3) another Selfhood part follows Crowd dictates and it’s Materialism orientation; and (4) one forever searches for Unconditional Love, but in vain. To only doPhysical realms (i.e. Material World) think, feel, say, and do ways of living means they are foreign to ones Real Self’s original natural course of development and their reality expressions in daily living. Such makes one a Self-Unknown wanderer.
