Confidence man ("Con-man" or "Con-Artist" for short), Swindlers, Cheaters, Deceivers, Tricksters, Defrauders, Beguilers, Quacks, Shark, Horse Trader, Card-sharp, Shyster, Land Pirate, and Land Shark are but a tiny few of the names used for plausible Deceivers. They cheat by faking for personal gain—whether putting themselves at an unfair advantage and/or putting Victims at an unfair disadvantage. And, to varying degrees, they usually succeed. Although present throughout ancient cultures, they were most prominent among primitive Europeans (who promoted Supernatural gods made in their own image) and with Greek Sophists’s shrewd deceptions. Arbitrarily, let us pick up the story in Europeans’Biblical times and focus on Con-artists' presentations of metaphors copied out of the Ancient African Spiritual Literature and made into fact (Bailey, Ancient African Bible Messages). One of the countless stories is the serpent, disguised as the devil and pretending to be what he was not in his association with Adam and Eve. By the serpent’s smooth, hypocritical talk in saying what Eve wanted to hear—and Eve, being emotional, was able to be deceived. She convinced Adam–and both were talked out of Paradise. These Eve and Adam characters, in the earlier devised African Ethiopian mythological story thousands of years prior to the formation of the European Bible, were originally named Aisha and Aish to convey the point of the Serpent symbolizing humans’ Acquired Emotions and Sensations as being displays of animalistic behaviors (Amen, Metu Neter VII: 51). From this falsely presented fantasy story of the “Fall of Man” is humans’ rational, artistic faculties, and behaviors combined in the service of their sensual nature. Hence, there is no intelligence, morality, or spirituality in humans’ Brain/Minds that generates such fantasies. Instead, they are human-made vehicles for a false Life Force. Their imposition of Force over Mind, Reasoning, and the Will are the cause of all the varying wrongs in the peopled Universe. The result is a Cascade of infinite magnitude that simultaneously serves as Spirit, Body, and Mind destructive forces to various peoples of the world.
Those false forces resemble a series of waterfalls pouring and spreading over steep rocks–disrupting humane Spiritual, Rational, and Physical networks in its paths–networks which produce outputs serving as in-puts for the next component in each network while also rippling in all directions. A consequence example of the Adam/Eve story was Europeans making Redemption necessary to restore all humans from them having cursed the human race with "Original Sin"—a supposed result of God's wrath (itself a false anthropomorphism concept). To make all of this work for controlling peoples’ minds, Europeans invented a Hell, Devil, and Supernatural God(s). Besides the serpent’s false appearance of pleasantness and goodness, the European mythology authority, Campbell (Thou Art p86) said the Garden of Eden [which is actually in Africa]; “…a world Flood; a Tower of Babel; an Abraham; an Exodus from Egypt; an edition of the Ten Commandments entrusted physically to Moses on the top of Mt. Sinai, followed by a second edition delivered to him after he had broken up the tablets of the first; a particular Virgin Birth, the End of the World–when taken as the message of truth, allows the symbols to be used as devices to control the people in churches and temples.”
Practically every mythology in the world borrowed the African concept of the Virgin Birth to refer to a Supernatural rather than to a historical reality. The same, continues Campbell (Thou Art p7), applies to “the metaphor of the Promised Land, which in its denotation plots nothing but a piece of earthly geography to be taken by force.” Meanwhile, a Lexicographer’s con-artist trick concerned Alchemy—now wrongly deemed to be an Arabic definite article (of “Al” which is like a prefix) and “chemy”, a Greek stem (i.e. the word root or base). But similar to so many misrepresented words, “alchemy” is an African word, with “chemy” (or Kemet) being the root for the original name of what is now called Egypt. One of its stories is that in the early centuries of the Christian Era, the Greeks of Alexandria, Egypt pursued the practice of trying to transmute base metals into noble ones but believed they needed an imaginary substance–called the Philosopher’s Stone—because of its supposed linkage with theories of matter advanced by ancient European philosophers. From this, a deception was the “Stone” possessed indefinite life prolonging + body curing powers. These teachings are “Shams!”jabaileymd.com
