African Tradition’s Supernatural concerns using Figures of Communication (e.g. Metaphors) as alternatives to arrive at Circumstantial (i.e. Spiritual) Truths. Warriors’ Supernatural concerns the Brute Brain realm of Indifference/Hate/Evil/Sadism. The Surreal is what straddles the boundaries of Reality and the Supernatural—for Good if of an African Supernatural type; for mindsets leading to Kill/Take/Destroy/Dominate/Oppress/Control, if of the Warrior type. Either way, the Surreal is non-rational (i.e. non-mathematical) in its formation of Thoughts wrapped in Emotions. African Tradition Surreal uses creativity and Pre-birth Emotions to arrive at a significant imaginary Common-Sense ideas. The juxtaposition of the unexpected, with incongruent arrangements and combinations, have a “Phatic” or atmospheric effect. Out of its Fantastic Imagery are conveyed Principles and Human Ideals capable of “Touching Hearts” of those open to them; of drawing attention to the moment whereby its featured attribute generates spontaneous natural Pre-birth Emotions; and reproducible in Sender/Receiver for causing certain “human nature” thought, feeling, expression, and/or activity responses. These enable touching Receivers’ “Hearts” and/or “Heads” by routes that shorten the distance between the intent of the messenger’s message and the Receivers’ understanding of both the message and of the Sender. In addition, Receivers have a Realistic After-Effect that spurs a like-kind Awareness by bathing in that Phatic Surreal Atmosphere. African Tradition’s Supernatural Surreal Communications are of a Metaphysical nature, whether in style forms of language or of non-speech (glances, gestures).

These Forms generate atmospheres or auras—called “Phatic”. Its intent is not a Formal (an established or fixed method of procedure for all) exchange of information or ideas. Rather, it establishes situation settings that serve good, disarming, or intimidating purposes. Type I is of a Warrior intimidation used by Supernatural Bullies and terrorists in order to create fear. Type II are “Disarming,” like: Type II A–such informal comments as those of a personal in-group nature: “how’s it going” or in writing: “All the best” or “yours truly”; Type II B–of an impersonal nature: “have a nice day” or on the weather, as: “nice day again, isn’t it?” Type II C are gestures like ‘shaking hands’ upon meeting strangers or a ‘manly hug’ upon coming in contact with a friend. Type III is extending an in-group atmosphere for purposes of maintaining social contact, as “What’s happening ‘homie’?” Type IV is reassurance of protection or defense from harm, as does a parent in telling children: “I will handle this Bully.” Type V creates, enhances, or maintains a Congenial Fun atmosphere with those ranging from “sort of close” over to being intimate. When they are of a Group Spirit, each is tuned into similar in-group rhythms in ways of doing things, like those of ones Crowd. Type VI, like Type V, shares Personalities as a Group Mind in phatic (atmospheric) “speaking” to each in-group member without the necessity for words–or for more than a tiny number of words–or by gestures and glances.

Types V and VI are Informal in the sense of not being in accord with outsiders’ prescribed regulations or forms—and yet are Formally appropriate with their participating in-group members. Both are employed to convey Pre-birth Emotions that establish an atmosphere of sociability in those possessing similar experiences and who engage in like-kind activities. Formimplies the thing's character or nature is manifested by its operations. For example, chronically fearful Black youth, who typically engage in hyper-protective measures as Slave Survivals from Warriors up to now, can be coaxed into temporary congenial Phatic atmospheres to feel Safe (i.e. having a sense of protection by something strong enough to survive and overrule all opposing forces) and Secure (accepting that all of their needs are being cared for–whether to get what they desire or to not get what they do not desire). By these making them “a little Free” allows them to engage in the familiar Type V and VI Interchange and do their independent things. Meanwhile, by returning to who they really are being inside pleasant and supportive atmospheres, each can fashion her/his Talent Form into a fully realized Pattern. That Pattern’s internal womb supplies Essence nourishment, with its endowments and propensities. Here now, the whole art of teaching Black youth—i.e. to awaken their natural Curiosity for the purpose of generating the enjoyment of learning—can begin with Fun!!!; JABLifeSkills;
