Our Ancient African Ancestors had Humankind’s highest audacity of Free Mind Grit by dedicating their Spirits to living Human Ideal lives that would lead them to the “Heaven Afterlife.” Although the word “Spirit” has been bastardized to have countless meanings, Ancient Africans used it to indicate the exact replica in miniature of the Cosmic Spirit (now called God). By it containing all Cosmic knowledge means humans’ Divine Spirits possess unrealized realizations of regulatory Cosmic Laws of Nature applicable to each of their personal and social lives (Amen, Metu Neter 7:52). In order to reach the “Heaven Afterlife,” its cultivation in thought, feelings, expressions, and deeds equates to Free Mind Grit. From the “Fishnet Moment,” when free Africans in Africa were enslaved “forever,” European captors concentrated on a series of the Enslaved’s Selfhood destructions that included: (1) switching the Spiritual  God of African Tradition over to a “triad fantasy” of a Supernatural God, Hell, and Devil; (2) disconnecting aspects of any Spiritual or life-shaping subject so no one could make sense of it; (3) constantly generating delusions about how great Europeans and their imagined ancestors were; (4) destroying all concepts of “Family” by raping them all; (5) enforcing rigid rules against nonconformity; and (6) ensuring inhumane discipline in order for them to STAY-IN-YOUR-PLACE —i.e. the messages of: “don’t read”; “don’t get an education”; “don’t try to better yourself”; “don’t be ambitious”; “don’t trust each other or work together to fashion Black Power”; “don’t be uppity” (i.e. do not be like a White man—and morally that is good advice!!); “stay in your place”—meaning Black people should “be about nothing”; “fight among yourselves”; and “spend your money foolishly”.

Wide-spread success came from captors first “Breaking The Slave’s Spirit,” starting with “Seasoning of the Slaves” in Africa, on the Middle Passages, and constantly after arrival in the Americas. Next, the captors separated Enslaved children from their parents as soon as they got off the Middle Passage ship. The children were taught they were born to only be Slaves and that they came from savages.  Whether fictitious or not, brute methods laid out by the White slave owner, William Lynch, in his 1712 speech portrayed what actually happened. After concluding on breaking the will of the Enslaved to resist, he addressed “The Systematic Physical Breaking and Psychological Reversing Process.”  Points stressed to fellow slaver owners were: to Concentrate on Future Generations by breaking the Slave mother until she will eat out of your hand. Then, she will break her offspring to eat out of your hand also. He added: “When it comes to breaking the uncivilized nigger, use the same process, but vary the degree and step up the pressure, so as to do a complete reversal of mind.  Take the meanest, and most restless nigger, strip him of his clothes in front of the remaining male niggers, tar and feather him, tie each leg to a different horse faced in opposite directions, set him afire and beat both horses to pull him apart in front of the remaining niggers.  The next step is to take a bullwhip and beat the remaining nigger male to the point of death in front of the female and the infant.  Don’t kill him but put the fear of God in him [i.e. the “triad fantasy” of a Supernatural God, Hell, Devil] for he can be useful for future breeding.” By being essential for slave owners to keep the Enslaved ignorant, they targeted: I–Reversing the Slaves' Language Skills; II: Destroying the Slaves Languages; III: Keep Fooling the Slaves; IV–Keep the Slaves Word Deprived; V: Keep Slaves from knowing their history; VI: Keep Controlling the Spirit and mind of the Slave female; VII: Deliberately generate Delusions in the Slaves; VIII: Repress the Spirits of the Slaves; IX: Generate dissension among the Slaves; X: Make Slave female dominant over the Slave male; XI: Make Slave boys mentally and spiritually weak; and XII: Keep Slaves in desperate poverty.

These were brainwashed into the Enslaved and were maintained within many following slavery, on up to the present. Resultant mindsets formed are likened to the “Head of Lettuce” concept. Lettuce begins as a long stem and at its top is a tuft of elongated leaves. Progressively, leaves “bolt” in forming what covers the “head.” Those leaves may be in different shapes, compactness, and folding or curls. Enslaved mindsets formed around a False Self “triad fantasy” core, onto which grew “fake leaves” of layered Traumatized and Poverty Thinking.
