Black Friday Shoppers Break Record in Gun Purchases

by admin on 3rd-December-2017

Riverside—Black Friday and Cyber Monday bargains provide excellent opportunities for retailers to strengthen their sales performance for the year. These annual sales-day gimmicks are no different for those who profit in the gun industry, and with America’s penchant for weapons and their paraphernalia, while many Americans sought deals on toys, clothes, and household items during Black Friday sales, others sought deals on weapons and ammunition.

This year, American shoppers set a new, single-day record for FBI background checks for weapons purchases with a nine percent increase over last year’s single day record. Last Friday, the FBI processed 203,086 background check requests, versus the 2016 total of 185,713.
