The Intent for the two forms of personal Standards—God-made and Human-made–concerns ones Character. Their Effects, Consequences, and Results may be beneficial, destructive, or Indifferent. God-made Standards are about Certainty, as exhibited in the Processes of Nature. Although they are independent of, and uninfluenced by human input, humans foolishly place their good, bad, or indifferent concepts on them for various good, intended good, self-interest, or evil purposes—any out of deliberateness or out of ignorance. Happiness is a by-product of having a good intent and the doings to provide anonyomous Selfless Service to any part of Humanity. That process alone, when flowing spontaneously, is like the Star saying: “let me light my lamp” and without thoughts of helping to remove the darkness. But in Compassion situations, “Feelings” from ones Pure Emotions and “Thoughts” from ones Pure Intellect must be given to how to best relieve the darkness or at least make sufferers in the darkness more comfortable. Applications of Self-Love are to do the difficult, yet Necessary; to resist good advice with regret in order to do what is “Felt” to be Right; to sacrifice desires; and to stand against ferocious “Alligators” (e.g. losses, lacks, obstructions put up by Brutes). African Tradition’s “Best,” “Greatest,” or “Superior” does not come by self-declaration or from ones own rewards. Instead, it follows Spiritual Reciprocity—i.e. “the reward of ones good Selfless Service acts consist in the fact that Receivers will act for her/him” in doing good, in the manner of a “Ripple Effect. This is one reason Europeans’ “Golden Rule”: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”–does not apply. Considerations given to such acts on a “Best/Greatest/Superior” positive scale do not exist because whatever is about the Spiritual Elements of Unconditional Love, Truth, Reality, and the Natural, either is what it is or it is not. In short, it is “All-or-None”—absent any “Best/Greatest/Superior’s” relativity.
Human-made Standards are never Certain. They are relative to what works for certain reasons; for something at that time; for personal goals; for what controls society or people’s minds; and for biases and prejudices. Some come out of socializations; others out of ignorance from not knowing what constitutes positive scale “Best/Greatest/Superior”. The socialized do not realize they are enslaved until they discover the gist concepts of Racism: cannot do the things they want because others prevent that from happening; are abused and forced to bear it; or compelled by GUN violence to suffer inhumanities. Effects, Consequences, and Results of Human-made Standards always involve the military leader, the troops, their Crowd followers and the Victims. The latter 3, by not living their Real Self natures, are Self-unrecognized forms of Slaves. Since none of the 4 have Virtues, none of these Slaves can be positive scale “Best/Greatest/Superior”. So, they start using the leader as the standard and model the Troops in looking for negative scale ways to be “Best/Greatest/Superior”. The most oppressed Victims adopt the leaders position that they ought to be Slaves and imitate treating each other as well as themselves just as their oppressors treat them. Reversing that mindset, regardless of where each is on the Destructive Scale, requires battling resistance of the defenseless’ + overcoming perpetrators competitors. Perpetrators fight, even among their own, and fights fill them with childish “Excitement” of being “the “Best/Greatest/Superior” in life. Fettered Selfishness rules means there are no rules. Winning by any means necessary is the only thing. Despite the high cost, “Sick” pleasures come from leaving trails of pain, suffering, misery, poverty in others—–for demonstrations of who is “Best/Greatest/Superior” is for all to see. Leaders say: “too much is never enough” of what they are after and thus their “Best/Greatest/Superior” is measured by who has the most “Adult Toys.”
Actually, “Best/Greatest/Superior” properly applies to competition with oneself—to be a little bit better today and in every way than yesterday. This comes from the “ME/WE” concept of serving the most needy—those who did not voluntarily cause their poverty situations—those whose cowardice perpetuates their own status quo enslavement—those who have no desire to escape from their chains–those who can neither help nor harm the Helping Hands—those who will never know the source of those Helping Hands. No human has been given the God-made power to set the “Best/Greatest/Superior” standards for being the master over any other human. jabaileymd.com
