Very Ancient African (c20,000 BC?) concepts of Metaphysical Chaos and Metaphysical Order gave rise to the Chinese ideas of Yin/Yang. Such ideas arose, some say, in c1000 BC by the Chinese Chow Dynasty (1027-256 BC) and thereafter was incorporated into the Han period of Confucianism. Nevertheless, African Metaphysical Chaos and Metaphysical Order originated Qualitative Mathematical Algebra by both representing the concept of “Manifested,” as Indivisible Differences, like two side of a coin. The Metaphysical Chaos side contains Conceivable Viable Unrealized Realities. The “Seeds” inside Chaos have the Cosmic Force as their Source and the Subjective Realm, in which they reside, as their Matrix (Womb”). By contrast, Metaphysical Order is the other side of “Manifested”—meaning, it has outward signs or actions in the Cosmos which reveal the inward character of the assessed Thing. In short, on one side of the Algebraic “equal sign, "Manifestation" is its in-action and non-doing” but in a state of power; on the other side, "Manifestation" is action or pushing as a way to make things happen.  Both are extremely important concepts for understanding the elements that bring out Cosmic and human creations, happenings, and growing of Cosmic Organisms and a human’s thoughts. Both Metaphysical Chaos and Metaphysical Order are complimentary equals because each contains things involved in the other. But the key point is Complimentary Equals—despite being polar opposites–must be of the same nature—hence of the same Genetic Essence, even though they have unique duties and quite different customized appearances—for these constitute Correspondence. Such a Union of Opposites goes beyond the duality (two joined things) concept since both sides are reconciled by the "Sameness" of their inner nature–derived from the same Cosmic Force source).

As a result, the two complementary equal opposites are transformed into becoming a manifesting "One"–a state necessary for making a harmonizing whole. Next, African Sages had Metaphysical Chaos and Metaphysical Order on one side of the “equal sign” with Metaphysical Disorder on the other side. All three of these have Correspondence. The idea was to use Metaphysical Disorder as a Background for comparing potential ways unrealized Realities residing in the Subjective Realm could be affected in the Foreground by Mutations (alterations during the arrival at the final destination of each entity) and Nurture (the sum Effects of environmental influences and conditions acting on an organism). This is an exercise in Reasoning by Induction (Inferring general principles from particular facts) and Deduction (making inferences from general truths to particular truths). Such teach youth that although Nurture has not yet come into the realm of Reality, engaging in "Systematic Observing" in both an imaginative mental system + with Seeable world Things are ways to fashion discernment and insights. Both pave possible paths into what leads into a Thing’s Hidden aspects–fundamental processes for Understanding anything particularly difficult or seemingly “Impossible” to handle.

That process started African Tradition’s formal use of symbols applied to Qualitative Algebra. The resultant manifested Order out of the previously undifferentiated mixture of raw elements inside Chaos is in the form of Yin, the female principle, and Yang, the male principle. These Yin/Yang principles derived from Africans’ “Neter” (masculine) and "Netert"/"Netrit" (feminine) words. Although translated by some as “god/goddess," specifically they mean African Principles + Laws. Both words thus, refer to natural Laws governing Creation, rather than Deities (which are extensions of God symbolizing natural Laws). When the Chinese borrowed the African Law of Opposites, they symbolized it as fishes, called Yin (negative principles of the Cosmos) and Yang (positive Principles). These fishes are positioned in opposition to each other that go round-and-round, like night and day. Yin/Yang are not in conflict, as in trying to eat each other, but each can only be there because of the other. The Chinese said their Yin/Yang Laws of Opposite and Complement exists before anything happens in the Objective Realm, including the Initiation and Manifestation of the Ether. This is because the unity concept of all real creatures and creations is inside the Nun (the Tao) and each obeys its laws.  In the process of Initiating and Manifesting Ether, the Law of Opposites/Complements (Laws of Yin/Yang) become activated. jabaileymd.com; JABLifeSkills; Theievoice.com
