1245.29 Type 2 Diabetes and High Blood Pressure Research Study

Medical researchers are now studying an investigational drug to see if it may help reduce high blood sugar. The study is for African American men and women, 18 years of age or older, who have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and are not currently being treated.

You may be able to take part in this study if you :

• Are at least 18 years old
• Are African American
• Have Type 2 Diabetes
• Have high blood pressure

If you qualify, you will receive study-related care and study medication at no charge. You may receive compensation for travel expenses.
